Job Summary

Manages the day-to-day operations of the senior living location, while supporting a positive atmosphere for residents, families, visitors and staff. Responsible to implement, maintain, and coordinate operations, projects and financial matters within core areas. Strives to create a supportive community environment in which the residents thrive. Promotes a positive, team approach and a healthy work environment for staff.. Maintains privacy and confidentiality of all residents, resident records and tenants' living environment.

Responsible for maintaining compliance with Fair Housing, federal, state and local regulations. Recruits, hires, train and staffs work areas appropriately. Plan and maintain written safety and emergency disaster procedures, and communicates to staff and residents. Ensures strong sales, marketing and engagement strategy. Familiar with social and supportive services within the community. Demonstrates excellent leadership, judgment and strategic planning skills. Possesses excellent communication an interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize work effectively and efficiently. Willingness to be on-call for emergency situations.

Must possess strong communication skills, be detailed orientated and work well with fellow peers. Professional appearance and manner required. Works under limited supervision.

Assists in the development and implementation of monthly marketing activities/programs inclusive of community outreach activities, special events and media activities. Acts as liaison with community businesses, associations and clubs. Assists with supervision of outside/contracted vendors providing services to and in the facility. Coordinates apartment renovation/cleaning prior to new residents moving in.


Associate's degree in a health care or business related field required. In lieu of degree, three years applicable experience may be accepted.

Minimum of three years of applicable experience preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Three years' experience in a leadership role preferred.

Must be knowledgeable of the billing requirements of third party payers. Basic understanding of medical terminology as well as ICD-9, CPT coding, and good working knowledge of general business procedures, accounting principles, and computer programs required.
