Job Summary

As a Medical Staff Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting our physician leadership team—helping organize meetings, prepare agendas, track follow-ups, and ensure everything runs smoothly so doctors can focus on patient care As a Medical Staff Coordinator, you will:

Support Physician Governance: Prepare agendas, document minutes, and facilitate meetings within the medical staff structure.

Ensure Compliance: Interpret medical staff bylaws and communicate policy/procedure changes as needed.

Assist with Credentialing: Establish and update provider files, obtain and evaluate primary source verification of provider credentials, and maintain current verifications that expire.

Provide Administrative Support: Offer clerical assistance to medical staff, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.

Must-Haves:

Associate's degree in a related field -OR- three years of relevant work experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Good-to-Haves:

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Microsoft Office Certification.

Experience with credentialing processes.

Qualifications

Associates degree required in related field -OR- three year's of relevant work experience.

Microsoft Office Certification preferred
