Day shift position working with hospital, orthopedic department, and SNF.

Job Summary

Provides customers with orthotic care under the clinical supervision certified clinical staff in order to restore physiological function and/or cosmesis. Maintains a high standard in relation to patient safety. Knowledge of the value of self-motivation and initiative; ability and willingness to seek out work and the drive to accomplish goals. Identifies common patient safety risks within the organization and how they can be avoided. Establishes and maintains productive working relationships within and outside of own area. As needed, performs other related duties as requested.


High school diploma or equivalent required.

Completed the schooling necessary to become certified as an Orthotist through the Board of Certification/Accreditation, International (BOC) or the American Board of Certification (ABC).

Certified Orthotic Assistant (COA) through the American Board for Certification (ABC) is required; if not at time of hire, must have certification within three years of hire. Depending on department, must have current valid driver’s license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category III drivers.
