Department Details

PRN as needed may be required to work during the week or weekend. As of right now you would be working anywhere from Monday - Thursday 8AM-6PM, Friday 8AM-5PM, and Saturday 8:30AM-12PM.

NOTE: As of July 27th the hours will be changing as the office is moving to a different building across the street. New hours will be Monday - Friday 8AM-5:30PM and Saturdays 8AM-12PM.

Looking for someone who is willing to work one 8 hour shift each week in addition to picking up hours for vacations and PTO that existing staff have planned; the day would vary each week.

Job Summary

Perform preliminary screening examinations and/or tests to facilitate diagnosis and treatment by the provider. Assist the provider with procedures and care of the patient. Collect subjective and objective ophthalmic data from the patient or caregiver and communicates this to the doctor. Cross-training to support basic optical and/or access functions as needed.


High School graduate is preferred. Will provide training and education for required skills.

Previous health care experience or training in ophthalmology, optometry, and/or optical office preferred. Basic Life Support Certification required.
