Practice Details

Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon for a fast growing practice in Detroit Lakes, MN - available 2025.

  • Flexible schedule

  • Clinic practice with surgery & endoscopy time each week at local hospital or in the ambulatory surgery center located in the clinic.

  • Call is shared with current general surgeon- 2 days a week and 1 weekend per month.

  • Potential outreach to other Sanford clinics.

  • Multispecialty group practice including Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Ob/Gyn, Surgery, Podiatry, Optometry, Dermatology, Behavioral Health, Audiology, and PT/OT services.

  • Service region of 55,000.

  • 15 Outreach specialties available.

Compensation Package

Sanford Health offers a nationally competitive compensation plan with an additional physician benefits package including a health, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, CME allowance, allowed time away, malpractice insurance and tail coverage, and a relocation allowance.

Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $414,669 - $536,631 plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs.

Additional incentives may be offered. Actual compensation offers may vary and are determined based on multiple factors including education, training, certification, experience, scope of practice and actual job requirements.
