Practice Details

FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA (USA). Sanford Health's expanding multi-subspecialty hospital-based pathology group is seeking an AP/CP Board Certified Surgical Pathologist with additional subspecialty fellowship training for a full-time position. Position weighted toward subspecialty area(s); preference to candidates with strong surgical pathology training/background.  

  • Guaranteed salary first 2 years, with upside opportunity starting year 2  

  • Hybrid subspecialty model for surgical pathology with emphasis in a subset of organ systems  

  • Completely subspecialized signout of hematopathology, cytopathology, and dermatopathology  

  • Annual volume of 55000+ surgical cases, 700 bone marrows, 30000 GYN cases, 3000 non-GYN cytology cases  

  • PA’s/grossing staff perform all gross dissections  

  • No autopsies  

  • Laboratory medical directorships  

  • Level I Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center
