-Whether you are a New Grad or experienced Inpatient Acute or Outpatient Chronic Dialysis Nurse looking for a very Team Oriented place to CALL HOME, we have the opportunity for you!!
-Provide Acute Dialysis on 3 Hospital campuses.
-Critical thinking skills, autonomy, diversity, flexibility, compassion, support.
-Full-Time 36 hours per week / 12 hour shifts.
-Great team work!
-Deliver acute hemodialysis to adult / pediatric in-patients with chronic kidney disease as well as patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) and transplant.
-Not just hemodialysis. Inpatient (Acute) Dialysis RNs may deliver nephrology care across multiple renal therapies: peritoneal, continuous renal replacement therapy and apheresis.
-Modified self-scheduling. (0630-1900, 0900-2130, and 1100-2330). First year after hire every other weekend if needed and then every third weekend after first year of hire. Call shift from 2300-0630 approximately 2-3 times every six weeks. Self-scheduling ability with following department guidelines. Work every other holiday with after five years the ability to request a scheduled holiday off.

Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions
Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care
Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care
Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise
Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
