Director of Aspire by Sanford (CPCC, MA, BA, CCP & RHC-II)

Linda Kirchhevel is the Director of Aspire by Sanford, bringing a career-long passion for the growth and development of people. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Sioux Falls, along with teaching endorsements in middle school language arts, middle school social studies, and K–12 computer science. Linda has been a certified teacher in the state of South Dakota since 2002. She also earned a Master of Science in Technology for Education and Training from the University of South Dakota. Linda began her career in public education, teaching upper elementary grades. While teaching full time and pursuing her master’s degree, she developed a strong interest in adult learning and the use of technology to enhance learning experiences. After five years in the classroom and completing her graduate studies, she transitioned into corporate education.

Linda joined Sanford Health in 2010 as an Instructional Designer, supporting enterprise-wide learning through the development of online education solutions. In 2014, she advanced into the role of Learning Management System Operations Manager, leading a virtual team of Application Support Analysts and aligning learning technology with organizational strategy. Since December 2019, Linda has led Aspire by Sanford, overseeing career development, leadership development programming, and employee education assistance and scholarship initiatives.

In addition to her work at Sanford, Linda serves on the Harrisburg School Board, Sioux Falls/Harrisburg Junior Achievement Champions Board, and South Dakota HOSA Board.
