Job Summary

Associate Project Manager supports the traffic, coordination and monitoring of tasks for one or more marketing functional teams under the direction of the Marketing Production Manager. May also oversee planning, implementation, and tracking of small-scale projects. Provides overall coordination for project task work and integration of efforts of various project teams. Assists in resource allocation while following established standards and methods for project management.

Attends project meetings and assists with determination of project requirements. Assists in development of project plans and schedules. Utilizes project administration tools to monitor project tasks, work loads and marketing traffic. Provides day-to-day support to tasks ensuring all deliverables are at an acceptable level of quality before proceeding to the next. Assists in identifying, assessing and facilitating resolution of business and technical problems/issues/risks.

Under the direction of the Production Manager, assists in the development procedures, processes and milestones while working with management staff to resource projects accordingly. Develops and maintains productive working relationships with project team and third party service providers/vendors integral to project delivery. Ensures effective communication between all members of the project team by ensuring timely and appropriate generation, collection and dissemination of project information. This position will spend time scheduling and coordinating videos and interviews with internal and external stakeholders. Strong customer service skills are required and will be used to in providing service and training to internal customers with our department.

This specific open position will support a mixture of digital marketing and Sanford Health News efforts while also applying assistance to graphic design, copywriting, photography and videography teams.

Experience in marketing is required. Marketing production and/or project management experience is preferred and experience in areas of digital marketing, content and video is preferred. Other marketing functional channels may be assigned so knowledge of the marketing full life-cycle is ideal.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum of two years' progressively responsible work experience, preferrably in stewardship projects or programs. Have project management experience across full project lifecycle.

Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM), Project Management Certification (PMP), or equivalent advanced training in project management preferred.

Specific to Sanford Research - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired. Certification through Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) required. Currently licensed with the applicable State Nursing Board and/or possess multistate licensure privileges as required by position.

Depending on area, may require valid driver's license.
