Job Summary

Carries out gift processing for the multiple Sanford Health Foundations. Maintains accurate records of gifts received and reconcile daily activity. Including accurately categorizing and processing gifts of varied types into donor database. Manages the analysis and processing of gifts in a timely and accurate fashion to adhere to the Foundation's turnaround policy. Analyzes gifts to determine appropriate funds, campaigns, appeals, potential quid pro quos and other aspects of each gift to be processed. Reviews gifts to determine appropriate tax receipt in accordance with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations. Prepares receipts and acknowledgement letters and manages the receipting process. Responsible for the production of reminder letters and invoices. Assists with maintaining accuracy of constituent data in donor database.

Well-organized with the ability to work with interruptions and stress. Detail orientated with accuracy regarding processing and analysis. Possesses strong written, verbal and listening communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a collaborator in a team. Ability to be adaptable and accommodate changing situations and workloads. Continually assess processes and workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency. Requires at least one year to become thoroughly familiar with the data base.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, nonprofit, healthcare or administrative work.

Minimum of two years of applicable experience. Knowledge of Raiser's Edge software desired.
