Job Summary

Implements improvements identified through process improvements, regulatory additions and changes, product benefit additions and changes and all other areas as necessary that tie into operational efficacy and efficiencies. Implements documented repeatable processes throughout Sanford Health Plan. Oversees all aspects of implementing projects and process improvements through setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities. Monitors and summarizes progress of projects. Accurately documents implementation management life cycle, including unanticipated barriers and resolutions. Utilizes a variety of data mining tools, techniques and applications. Tracks metrics regarding status of Implementation projects. Understands a systems approach to problem solving and project management. Has proven project development and management skills. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Familiar with a variety of project management concepts, practices, and procedures. Understands and adapts to nuances affecting project timelines and execution. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsible for the coordination and completion of implementing projects through execution and maintenance phase.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree preferred

Prefer education and experience that demonstrate project management knowledge, skills and abilities. Project Management Certification required or actively enrolled in CAPMtype PM certification at the time of hire. Regulatory and/or healthcare work experience helpful. Must possess at least two years of project management related experience. Experience working with diverse groups of people. Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously. Professional communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor communication to multiple audiences.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. Will consider entry level PM certifications that are actively working towards PMP certification.
