Job Summary

The Principal Salesforce Administrator will be the Product Owner and serve as subject matter expert and point of contact for Salesforce owning the future roadmap, managing system enhancements, maintaining the current environment, as well as supporting integrations with other Sanford systems. The Principal Salesforce Administrator will support specific area of the business by creating Salesforce reports and dashboards, owning data management tasks, responding to user support requests, and testing new features and functionality. This role will have the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects both big and small and work cross-departmentally. This position will lead updates to the Salesforce environments, including upstream and downstream system integration, by maintaining a structured backlog, supporting development, and data migration efforts. Maintain regularly circulated reports and dashboards and ensure data quality of all supporting data through data hygiene data cleansing protocols. Will build forecasting functionality, optimize existing reports and dashboards, and create new reporting tools and operating analytics, as needed to share insights with leadership for repeatable, scalable, and predictable sales processes.

Will be the main point of contact in onboarding new employees and leadership onto the sales platform, developing and completing all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules as well as new user and ongoing user training. Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.

Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): workflow, process builder, flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports. Other duties include: understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge; sandbox environment management; release management experience; identify unused or underutilized platform features; create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders; own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders; data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed; proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer; coordination with technical resources for creation and maintenance of file integrations; perform frequent data quality checks to ensure Salesforce data is accurate.

May be assigned on ad-hoc responsibilities around new initiatives refresher training and educational support as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field of study required.

Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5+ years’ of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms

Certified Salesforce Administrator required.

Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder desirable
