Growing Neurodiagnostics department, who works with patients of all age groups in both Evoked Potentials/IOM and EEG. Great team members and providers to work with.
Responsible for performing procedures or testing for all patient populations. Understands the testing equipment in detail, including its structure, function, indications for use, physiological effect upon the patient, and basic maintenance procedures. Understands and is able to apply principles of anatomy and physiology, normal and abnormal, related to procedures performed. Possesses working knowledge of the disease and pathological conditions encountered. May perform interoperate monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction and/or electroencephalography (EEG) testing for patients.
Graduated from an approved program of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (ENDT) is preferred.
Three years’ experience in area of specialty is preferred.
Certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) credential from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) or another qualified governing body that provides the accreditation and credentialing guides for two or more neurodiagnostic credentials is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.
