DANA DAVIS

Senior Career Development Consultant (CPCC, MEd & BS)

Dana Davis is a Senior Career Development Consultant at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. Her focus is on K12 students as well as undergraduate college students, and providing them with meaningful opportunities to interact with health careers and healthcare personnel. Education and training, as students prepare for their future career, is a big investment in their time and resources. Dana believes that providing true-to-life opportunities for students to inform decisions as they grow and develop as emerging adults is integral in supporting their development.

Dana joins the ASPIRE team with nearly 18 years of experience in higher education, focused on multi-state student recruitment, creating and facilitating grant-funded K12 health career education and outreach programs across the state of North Dakota, academic advising in health career related programs, creating and advising a leadership-based student organization, advising a culture-based healthcare-focused student organization, and teaching. She holds a BS in Elementary Education from Valley City State University, a MEd in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education from North Dakota State University, a certification in Career Coaching, and is certified as a Virtual Reality (VR) Educator.

One of the most rewarding parts of her work over the years, both in higher education and as a member of the Sanford family, has been meeting students while they are in high school figuring out their future goals, cheering them on throughout their education and training, and seeing them out in practice once they achieve their goal of working in health care.

In her spare time, Dana enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and getting out on the lake…usually with a good book and her parent’s mini golden doodle, Cork. The next best thing to having your own dog, is having a great dog to borrow!
