Aspire helps employees, interns and students unleash your full potential by discovering your passions, gifts and talents, enabling you to become the best version of yourself.
Career coaches are trained in the Eight Dimensions of the Aspire Whole Person Theory: Career Development, Finances, Health, Intellectual Well-Being, Quality of Life, Family, Spirituality and Social. Your career coach will incorporate these dimensions into your coaching sessions and connect you to other Sanford Health resources as needed.
You can expect your career coach to personalize each session to your professional and personal needs. There is no standard coaching session that all employees and students will receive. Your coach will be attentive and responsive to you and will guide you along your journey.
Your career coach will not complete or do any work for you; instead, you will be given the tools and knowledge to be successful. Our expectation is that you come prepared, on-time and engaged for each coaching session.
While Aspire offers an extensive list of services, you are able to customize your coaching experience by choosing which services you are most interested in utilizing.
A coaching session typically lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. The number of coaching sessions is dependent on the amount of services you select and your timetable. As your life and career journey evolve, you are always welcome to request additional services.
Aspire provides confidential services for Sanford Health and Good Samaritan Society employees, interns and students enrolled in Sanford Health and Good Samaritan Society programs at no cost.
With Aspire services, you are able to take ownership of your career journey by requesting services without a referral.
Aspire is here for you whether you need a career change or more fulfillment in what you are currently doing. It may be time to create goals for your future, but that may not mean changing your position. Your Aspire career coach will offer you encouragement and accountability as you uncover your next steps and aspirations.
While Aspire services are completely confidential, we recommend having a conversation with your supervisor about why these services are important for your growth. Your career coach can provide you with tips on how to navigate these conversations with your supervisor.

Sanford Health has identified the need for career coaching for our employees; therefore, coaching sessions can be utilized during work hours.
