Job Search FAQs
Please visit sanfordcareers.com, and click “Search Jobs” to view all available job opportunities. Click on the position title, and select the “Apply Now” button at the top of the page to apply. Log in to your account to complete the application.
If you have not applied with Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society before, please select “Create Account” under the “Sign In” button. Current employees can apply for a position by clicking the “Current Employees Login Here (will open in a new window)” button at the top of the page.
Filling out an application works best on a desktop computer.

Work Experience, Education and Certifications are all optional fields in the application; however, if you click the “Add” button, you will be required to complete the fields with the asterisk (*) in order to move forward in the application. You can move forward without completing these fields by clicking the “Remove” button under each section.
To add a skill into the Skills section of your application, type a skill, hit the Enter key and select the skill.
You can check the status of your application by logging in to your Profile and selecting “Candidate Home” in the top right corner. You will see all your completed applications and their status.
Some positions include pay information. If the pay information is available, it will be listed toward the top of the job posting. If the position you are interested in does not include pay information, you may call (877) 243-1372 for more information.
DailyPay
Sanford Health partners with DailyPay, an on demand pay provider, to give you more control over the timing of your pay. You can enroll at any time enabling you to receive a portion of your pay before pay day.

Sanford Health offers job shadow opportunities for individuals interested in exploring careers in healthcare. This opportunity to open to Juniors in high school or above. A job shadow is a 1–8-hour observational experience that allows participants to learn about a specific job by spending time with a seasoned professional in their field. This program provides a unique chance to see patient care in action, gain insight into daily responsibilities, and ask questions about the role.

- This program is designed to allow high school students ages 16+ the opportunity to explore career options within research. Students spend time with research staff during part of their routine day in one of our biomedical research laboratories located in Sioux Falls, SD and experience the workplace setting as well as the duties performed by research staff.
